Advisory for Indians

All Indian tourists, visiting Denmark are advised to exercise all caution to guard their valuables and travel identification papers including passports, especially at airports, railway stations and restaurants etc.

It has been brought to the notice of Embassy of India, Copenhagen that some unscrupulous persons in Europe are trying to dupe Indian nationals posing as Indian Embassy officials.

The fraudsters contact Indian residents in Europe claiming to be the officials of the Indian Embassy and collect personal information about the immigrants and their families.  They claim that their immigration details have been filled up wrongly due to which legal proceedings have been initiated by the host Government.  The fraudster asks formoney  in order render help to solve the case.

Embassy of India in Copenhagen hereby advises all Indian citizens to strictly avoid such calls made by the fraudsters as these calls are not being made by the Embassy of India.  If any Indian citizen receives such calls, he/she should immediately inform the Embassy with all the details.
